Christoph Tollmann completed his undergruduate studies in Political Science (major) and Islamic Studies (minor) in 2009 at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg. Last winter semester he taught a preparation course for students of his university to participate in an academic simulation of the UN, called National Model United Nations. The focus of his previous studies included the foreign policy of the European Union, EU-Turkey relations, system and reform of the United Nations, and democratization and economic transformation processes.
Before joining IslandsFirst and the Mission of Tuvalu, Christoph Tollmann gained practical experience while interning with a Permanent Representation of a German federal state in Berlin. Currently he plans to enroll back to university this fall to study International Relations.
