Gerrit is a graduate student at the University of Hildesheim, Germany. He is in his final year of his MA in International Information Management, Political Science and Business Administration. During his studies he spent two semesters at the University of Copenhagen and the Copenhagen Business School. Being a student of International Information Management, Gerrit is familiar with the use of new media, intercultural communication and different languages. Within the field of Political Science, his foci are international relations, the use of new media in politics and political participation.
Prior to his studies, Gerrit was a student at an US-American high school and worked in a children's home. He holds scholarships from the German Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation and the University of Hildesheim.
