Climate Change and Security
The General Assembly of the United Nations unanimously passed a resolution linking climate change to security, the first of its kind. In addition to urging the relevant organs of the U.N. to intensify their efforts to combat climate change, it also requests that the Secretary General release a report on the matter after consulting with member states and internaitonal organizations. | learn more
